Sorry my last comment did not appear the way i wanted it, if the total long positions is say 142,400 and the total short positions is 147,100 is this not fairly balanced, what do i take from this. sorry if my question is amateur but i’m new to the cot report
Very well explained but a lot of the time when looking at the cot report i don’t see a major difference between long and short e.g,
non commercial commercial
long short long short
83,450 79,400 147,300 139,500
what I’m trying to get at is, is the commercial long balancing commercial short they look pretty even, or am i reading it wrong, should i be looking at commercial long v non commercial long
